Ever since the reopening of BVIS HCMC, after the recent campus closure due to the global pandemic, all of our students have continued to show high degrees of energy, independence and enthusiasm.
In partnership with our teachers and parents, our students have continued to progress extremely well in their academic studies and built upon the excellent learning opportunities that they accessed online, during our Virtual School Experience.
Indeed, some of our youngest students have continued to learn both inside and outside of school by consolidating the work that they started when our doors were closed but our lessons continued.
When Nhat Minh and Kiwi received their small plant seeds in their EYFS home learning resource packs, little did they imagine that from such small seeds, large plants will grow. During the lockdown period, on their return to school and up to the present time, both children have continued to look after their plants.
One could say that these plants represent the learning that has taken place across our school this year during Term 2 and Term 3 – initiated by our teachers online, nurtured and developed during the period of lockdown and developed and further refined on the children’s return to school.
Well done to Nhat Minh and Kiwi – these truly are amazing plants that have grown from your respect and care for them. We look forward to seeing more pictures of how tall they grow after the holidays.
