Ms Katie-Ann Mumby-Cole

English / Drama Teacher

Ms Katie-Ann Mumby-Cole 

BA (Hons) Drama and English Literature – De Montfort University, Leicester.

PGCE Secondary English – Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield.

Whilst completing her degree and PGCE, Katie-Ann was lucky enough to be involved in extra work with several British Television networks, as well as appearing in local theatre shows such as The Twits, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Second from Last in the Sack Race (where she played an astounding 6 parts).

For the past three years she has taught English, Literacy, and been the solo teacher in the Drama department in a South Yorkshire school, in the UK – teaching from KS1 up to KS4.

She has previously worked in radio; appearing on local and regional radio stations as a guest and managing her own local show for 4 years.

In her spare time Katie-Ann enjoys photography, writing both factually and creatively, singing, and attempting to learn the ukulele. 

She is also a Leicester City Football Club fan.
