Grade 10 Drama Students Create Theatrical Pieces at Home Honing their acting skills at home, our MYP drama students continue to create stellar work for their ePortfolios.

Our MYP drama students continue to create stellar work for their ePortfolios at home. Using Caryl Churchill’s piece “The Skriker” as a stimulus, Grade 10 drama students were set the challenge of creating their own solo theatre pieces. Can you guess which central theme runs through all of their performances?

Students were given three online class periods to work on creating a theatrical piece following a series of guidelines. The following three pieces are excellent examples of their work, which the Drama department at ICS would like to share.

The pieces were based on the theme of the students' ePortfolio work this year, which centered on the question “How can artists draw attention to the issue of human impact on the environment?”

Thanks for checking out all of the performances!
