Even though we couldn’t physically get together to enjoy San Isidro festivities, our Primary Spanish department made sure that our students were able to celebrate together online!

The Spanish teachers asked students to share how they typically observe this holiday, which falls on 15 May every year. Wearing traditional clothing was a common answer, and both students and teachers donned their finest chulapo outfits.

Students also sent in videos of themselves dancing the “chotis” with family members, as well as wearing customary carnations. Making – and enjoying - typical sweets such as rosquillas was another common activity.
