Monday 17th September saw the start of the annual Terry Fox Run. Pupils from Pre-Nursery to Year 6 dusted off their running shoes in the name of charity.
As always, our pupils ran a course around the outside of the Rosinka Primary Campus, working hard to do as many laps as possible in the alloted time. Mr Charlton led the charge from the front as he insisted he would not give up and try his best in order to achieve the best possible total. Through sweat, determination and sheer hard work our pupils amassed an amazing collective total of 251 kilometres (the equivalent of six marathons)! As a community, we raised just over three hundred thousand Rubles for the Terry Fox Foundation. Pupils showed true ISM spirit to achieve such an incredible feat.
The day finished with the first ever ISM Colour Run. Pupils had the opportunity to take part in this fun event where all pupils and staff threw special paint powder at each other in the name of charity fundraising. Pupils, parents and staff all enjoyed themselves. The Colour Run proved to be a fitting end to what was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to help others and have fun. Congratulations to everyone that took part in this memorable event.
