"I felt like a rockstar; all of the younger students were dancing along to my song!" exclaimed Alisa as she proudly left the stage following Year Four's production of 'Let The Games Begin'. After six exciting weeks of auditions, rehearsals and costume fittings, it was clear that the entire year group were immensely proud of their efforts and knew that they would perform to the very best of their abilities. Over three performances, parents and students (from both Rosinka and Krylatskoe campuses) were treated to a spectacle unlike anything that they had ever seen before.
Following the trials and tribulations of Marney, Robin and Vicky as they followed their grandad's orders to immerse themselves into the world of board games and adventures, the audience were treated to a triple treat of singing, dancing and acting; with highlights including the dramatic chess battle, solving the mysteries at Cluedo Manor and the imprisonment of Lady Fortune who would no longer be able to terrorise the innocent players in her Land of Games.
After the show, we managed to get some quotes from the students in the audience who shared these thoughts: "We loved the amazing songs and the beautiful singing. Also, it was a great story line with funny jokes."
Finally, all of the students and teachers from Year 4 wish to thank everyone who has helped us with learning our lines, purchasing our costumes and giving us the confidence to perform in such a wonderful show.
