Through our collaboration with MIT, our STEAM programme helps students develop their creativity and problem-solving skills by tackling interdisciplinary challenges around issues facing the world today. Our global programme inspires students to look beyond individual subjects and harness the benefits of an interdisciplinary, practical, hands-on approach to learning guided by the world’s leading STEAM institution. Our students are encouraged to solve problems creatively, to embrace curiosity and to learn from world-leading experts at MIT. It also gives our teachers the chance to learn and receive professional development from inspiring figures in the world of STEAM and pass on their passion for learning to our students.
In a remarkable achievement, two exceptional students from our school, have triumphed in the MIT Hack-the-Tube challenge.
Outshining a competitive pool of 75 applicants vying for only 50 spots, they secured 2 of the 9 coveted positions reserved for the China and Hong Kong region. Their extraordinary talent and unwavering dedication have earned them the prestigious opportunity to spend a week at MIT in October. We proudly celebrate Yoshiki and Callum's success, as their accomplishments inspire our entire community. Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement!

On the last day of Term One, Principal Diane Vaughan conducted the termly Principal's Awards, this time celebrating the outstanding contributions of students who exemplify one of the school's core values of being considerate.
On 9th and 10th of December years 7-9 students were given the chance to debate on a given present-day topic. A debate is a structured discussion where individuals present and defend their viewpoints on a topic, aiming to persuade others with well-supported arguments.
