NAIS Pudong Scholarships
Arts Variety Show
The Arts Variety Show earlier this month was full of talent, creativity, and teamwork as our incredible students took the stage in our PAC Theatre. From the stunning music groups to the solo performances, every moment was a testament to the hard work and dedication of our confident, creative, and considerate learners. The program was varied including choral & musical theatre works, classical instrumental, rock and pop songs and Chinese traditional music.
A huge shoutout to our fantastic MCs, who kept the energy high and the crowd engaged and let’s not forget the stage managers who worked behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly. Thank you to our teaching and support staff who nurture our next generation of performers.
This event was a true celebration of our school’s artistic spirit, and we couldn't be prouder of everyone involved. We are planning more fun events throughout the year to allow opportunities for all our students to shine.
IMP Rectial
Our talented students truly shone at the Instrumental Music Programme (IMP) recital late last month, showcasing their hard work, creativity, and growth as confident musicians! From classical pieces to contemporary beats, the performances on stage in our PAC Theatre covered a beautiful variety of styles and genres, proving just how versatile our students are.
A massive thank you to our amazing peripatetic - instrumental and classroom teachers, whose guidance and support have helped nurture these incredible young talents. Your dedication to fostering both technical skill and artistic expression is truly inspiring and was well received by our audience of parents and community members.
Every note played and every moment on stage was a reflection of the considerate, creative, and confident learners we are so proud of. Can’t wait to see what comes next from these rising stars and we look forward to our next IMP recital in the new year.
In the final of our series of alumni spotlight articles, we speak with Matthew Ward, a professional football player in England who spent six years at NAIS Pudong before departing in 2019 to take up his current role as an elite sports star!
At NAIS Pudong, we strive to achieve our values, one element of which is building confidence in our students to help them better prepare for life after education. But what about building the confidence to question one’s approach and strategy in tacking tasks or ideas?
On the last day of Term One, Principal Diane Vaughan conducted the termly Principal's Awards, this time celebrating the outstanding contributions of students who exemplify one of the school's core values of being considerate.
On 9th and 10th of December years 7-9 students were given the chance to debate on a given present-day topic. A debate is a structured discussion where individuals present and defend their viewpoints on a topic, aiming to persuade others with well-supported arguments.
