NAIS Pudong Scholarships
We recently had the incredible opportunity to travel to Thailand for the U19 FOBISIA Basketball Invitational, hosted by Rugby School, and the experience was nothing short of outstanding.
From the moment we arrived, the level of competition was exceptional, showcasing some of the best basketball talent in the region. The first day presented a challenge, as teams were placed into unseeded groups, but our players left the court with a deep sense of pride in their resilience and performance.
The following day, the team truly stepped up, delivering their best performance of the weekend with a remarkable 46-point game against a formidable opponent. It was clear that the lessons learned from the previous day were already being put into practice.
Casper was presented with the MVP for our team which was thoroughly deserved for his performances across the two days.
To cap off the trip, one of our travelling parents, Vivien, generously treated the entire team to a memorable meal at a nearby mall, offering the perfect conclusion to an unforgettable experience.
Parent review:
The U19 basketball tournament organized by the school was truly remarkable. As a parent, I felt extremely honored to be part of it.
On the court, under the patient guidance of the Mr. Joe and Coach Junyor , the team demonstrated a remarkable spirit of unity and cooperation and a high degree of tacit understanding. The children were in excellent form and actively engaged in the game, constantly growing during the intense competition. They not only mastered a variety of basketball skills but also accumulated valuable experience in actual combat.
This tournament provided a platform for the children to exercise, significantly enhancing their self-confidence and willpower and cultivating their sense of collective honor. I would like to express my gratitude to the school for its meticulous arrangements and look forward to more such activities in the future to support the all-round development of the children. Thank you and Go Tigers!

On 9th and 10th of December years 7-9 students were given the chance to debate on a given present-day topic. A debate is a structured discussion where individuals present and defend their viewpoints on a topic, aiming to persuade others with well-supported arguments.
