We are delighted to share that Joey S. (Year 13) represented NAIS Pudong at the prestigious Circular Symbiosis Art Award Ceremony, where his artwork earned recognition in the Ecological Resonance Art Expression Award category. His piece stood out for its innovative concept and powerful message.

Joey’s inspiration came from last year’s Enrichment Week trip to Xi’an, where the Terracotta Warriors sparked an idea connecting cultural heritage with sustainable development. Created to mark the UN’s 80th anniversary, his work symbolises the importance of protecting shared heritage and encourages cities like Xi’an to blend cultural symbols into urban renewal, preserving history while shaping a sustainable future.
