Year 4's new themed learning topic On Tap began with a splash… literally!
The students all participated in a ‘wacky waterworks’ challenge to transport water from one end of the field to the other while trying to spill as little as possible. The children had to work strategically as a team using a variety of containers. Time was of the essence with a storm brewing overhead!
We are learning about water and its importance in our daily lives, particularly how we get water and where it goes after we have used it, water pollution, conservation and how we can help to improve the lives of those around us in our local area. The children are excited to engage in this new learning opportunity.
