Book Week is coming…

It's that wonderful time of the year again when children can begin thinking about which book character to get dressed up for our annual Primary Book Character Parade!

This year’s Primary Book Week runs from Tuesday 21st- Friday 24th March. There will be events and competitions galore for the children to get involved in, which will help to further instill a love of reading and books. On the Friday of Book Week, all students (and staff) should come to school dressed as a character from a book. To pay homage to one of the best-loved children's authors of all time, Roald Dahl, we are encouraging children to get dressed up as their favourite character from any of his amazing books.

**This website will give you some tips and ideas for this.

Details of the upcoming Book Week events and competitions will be shared with everyone soon. For now, everyone just needs to start thinking of their unique book character costume.

Parking arrangements on Tuesday 31st January

This is a reminder that there will be a drop off only facility tomorrow morning in the school car park due to the departure of the Y5 & 6 students for their residential trips. Your help with this is much appreciated.

ECAs cancelled on Friday

Due to the preparations for our Community Day on Saturday, which involves delivery of some heavy equipment, this Friday’s ECAs have been cancelled to ensure the students safety. The clubs which are run by outside providers will be made up later in the term.

We also ask that all students are off campus by 3 pm at the latest to facilitate the assembly of the equipment. The field will be closed to all students from 2.30 pm.
