It’s all about Community Day!
Community Day is upon us – it’s this Saturday, 4 February 2017 and starts at 11.00 a.m. Many, many thanks in advance to everyone on the PTG Committee as well as all the other parents who have been helping in the organization of this event. It will hopefully be a great day for the whole family. I must also thank Estates, Safety and Health, Accounts and the School Office for the enormous amount of work they put into this event.
Entry bracelets are already on sale in the Accounts Office at School. Black bracelets cost 500 baht and allow free access to all the rides. White bracelets cost 100 baht and are for adults and children who do not want to go on any of the rides. However, it is possible to upgrade to 500 baht bracelets on the day if any children change their minds! Some of our senior students will be raising money for charity and to fund their trips to Tanzania and Indonesia and will be running some games and activities that will be charged a small amount.
Please remember to bring in all sold raffle tickets with the money and hand it into the Office. More raffle tickets are available to sell and can also be collected from the Office. Please also bring in any unsold tickets as we may be able to sell these on the day. Remember also to hold onto your ticket stubs as not all the prizes will be drawn on Community Day. A full list of winners will be published in the Newsletter and will also be posted at the School Office. There are many great prizes up for grabs.
Parking will be at a premium so it is best to take public transport on the day. The shuttle bus service from Phra Khanong BTS will be available from 10.30 a.m. and will run throughout the day.
There will be lots of food and refreshments available as well as a great assortment of vendors so please come and enjoy yourselves.
Music will be provided by the school bands and don’t forget the Talent Show which will be held in the Drama Studio.
This will be a great day and is a fabulous celebration of the St. Andrews Community and it is this sense of community that sets our school apart from others in Bangkok. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday.
