PTG: A successful International Day, this time at High School

Thank you to all those in the St Andrews International School Bangkok community who joined the festivities on Friday’s International Day at High School...Please remember to attend our PTG meeting at 8:15am on 22 November at High School...Check out the new PTG Facebook page.

Dear Parents,

What a fantastic day International Day at High School was last Friday. Thank you to everyone involved in making the day such a huge success: to our amazing community of parents who put on such a fabulous range of food for the students and teachers to enjoy; and the Estates staff at school who helped the day run so smoothly from setting up the tables in the Atrium to helping carry food and equipment from the car park.

A simple thank you seems inadequate but I truly don’t know what else to say.

Now we have a year to recover!

This week sees a meeting of the PTG which will be held on Wednesday, 22 November at High School. The meeting will take place at 08.15 in the Theatre on the 7th floor of the Blue Building. Mr. Keith will give a presentation on the proposed plans for students from Year 10 onwards to bring their own devices to school from next year (BYOD). Parents have been asked to complete a very short survey on this issue. We should also have an update on the coffee/snack shop in High School and, of course, the floor is open for you to raise any issues or questions you may have.

We look forward to seeing you there.

The STA PTG Facebook page has been launched. Please sign up for it as it is yet another way to strengthen our community. If you are new to St Andrews, the Facebook page is a great way to ask questions about living in Bangkok and connect with other parents.

Thank you.
