It seems hard to believe that we only have three weeks left of this first term. It has certainly been a very eventful and successful term so far. The extra-curricular activities are starting to come to their closing sessions, and we are planning the next term’s programme based on what has been successful this term and on feedback from parents and staff running the programme to try to improve it further for next term.
This coming Saturday (2 December), parents can sign up for the online registration for extra-curricular activities Term 2 to Tuesday 5th December. Parents can view the details of the activities online at Friday 1st December via the Moodle system. If any parents who cannot log into the Moodle system for signing up, please contact:
This week we have the Book Week for High School with a range of activities going right across the campus. There will be book character day on Friday in High School so if you are visiting High School come prepared to see the strange set of characters working throughout the school. It certainly looks as though it is going to be a really fun week.
On Friday we welcome the sports squads from 5 NAE regional International Schools for the Primary NAE games we are hosting. This look like it is going to be a great weekend for everyone to enjoy looks of highly competitive and yet friendly sport with lots of social events woven around the tournaments to allow everyone taking part to really get to know each other and build friendship across our regional family of schools. Thank you to all our Estates and PE staff and lots of other staff who are involved in organizing this event and hopefully making it a really great success.
As we look towards the final two week before Christmas every day seems to have some really interesting and exciting event taking place. There are lots of productions across both campuses and we really look forward to our Christmas music concerts and fairs which will be held on Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 December at the Primary and High School respectively.
Finally, words cannot express how proud I am of our boys and girls who participated in this past weekend’s FOBISIA Phuket Soccer 7s Tournament in Phuket. The impressive demonstration of their skillful play, perseverance and love for the game were more important than any quantity of wins or losses.
