KS1 Sports Day

KS1 had a very busy morning on Thursday as they amazed everyone with their athletic abilities.  A rotation through a host of activities showcased their abilities in running, jumping, ball skills, speed and agility.  It was great to see everybody cheering on their friends, regardless of the team they were in.  Lots of cheering parents were able to come along and join the fun, and some of the older students came along to help out.  Thank you to Mr Damon and his team for the organisation, and to all the parents who  found some time to come along and support

Marlin Mayhem 2017

On Saturday and Sunday the swimming pool was very busy as swimmers from across Thailand came along to St Andrews for the 2017 Marlin Mayhem Swim Meet.  We had quite a number of boys and girls from KS1 representing the school in the 8s and under category.  Well done to everyone who came along and made the event such a success. You really are amazing swimmers!

Visiting Author - Tanya Landman

As Book Week approaches, Mrs Leanne and the class teachers are making their final preparations for the Book Week activities.

This year the award winning Tanya Landman will be paying us a visit, entertaining us with her funny stories and running workshops for some of the yeargroups.  More information about Tayna and her books can be found here.

Boxing Clever

Have you ever wondered why you buy children expensive gifts, when half an hour after they receive them, you find them fascinated with the box they came in?  On Friday Miss Fiona put to the test her theory that boxes are more exciting than their contents.  She gave Y1F a space full of empty cartons to see where their imagination took them.

Peak and Viran made a car, whilst Mattie, Aida and Gal made their own cinema.  Cooper kept busy making his robot mask and another group made ramps for their cars and measured how far they travelled using a metre stick.

It was a fun afternoon with great collaboration and teamwork.  Well done 1F.

Wake Up Shake UP

Just a reminder that Wake up Shake up with Miss Cassie is still running on Monday mornings at 7:30 in the Red Room.  All children who attend win a house point. This is open to all KS1 and Reception children and any parents that would like to join.

We look forward to seeing some of you there next week.
