Read the latest news from the PTG, including the recent Coffee Morning, information for new families, and our Lost and Found.

Dear Parents,

Thank you to everyone who came to our first PTG Coffee Morning last Friday.  Thank you as well to Amy and Simone, our School Counsellors, for taking the time to join us and to give us a great overview of their roles and how they will develop next year when the school splits to two campuses.  It was great to see parents meet up and have the opportunity to get to know each other.  Please let us know if there are subjects that you would like to see addressed in future coffee mornings and we will do our best to arrange them.  Just send your suggestions to us on PTGChair@standrews.ac.th

The PTG is very much aware that new students are joining STA throughout the year and new students bring new parents who need to have as much information as possible to integrate into a school year that is already in full swing.  To help with this, the PTG Committee is working closely with the school’s administration to organize more frequent information sessions – it is particularly important to have more frequent sessions on “What is Moodle and How to Use It”, given the important role that it plays in our life at school.

If you have suggestions on how we can improve things, please don’t hesitate to let us know by e-mail on PTGChair@standrews.ac.th

The PTG Committee is still waiting for the school to identify staff who will be responsible for Lost and Found.  Once this is done, we will help them learn the ropes so hopefully the Lost and Found system can be up and running efficiently soon.  Again, please help us by ensuring that everything that comes into school has your student’s name clearly marked on it.

All that remains is for me to wish everyone a great Songkran break whether you are travelling or staying in Bangkok.

Thank you.

Hilary Aziz
