JV Girls Volleyball tournament
Our JV Girls went to Chonburi on Friday for our first-ever tournament, hosted by International School Eastern Seaboard.
They won both of their group games, sending them directly to the semi-finals on saturday. They lost this game, but won their final play-off to finish in the bronze position.
These girls have had very little training but they have been highly motivated and their concentration, determination and competitive experience gained from other sports experiences have served them well.
STA Community Sports Day
Thank you to those who have already sign-up for our Community Sports Day on 10th June. It will be a great deal of fun!
I’m aware that some of you think it will be very competitive and that you must have lots of experience playing. Please be assured that the idea is that we have fun through participating together and previous experience is not necessary!
If you do sign up, please ensure that you give us all the information requested on the survey and only sign up for one sport. Thank you.
Flames Basketball Academy
Our U11 Boys had a good game against For-The-Love on Saturday as we take our Academy programme to the next level. They played a couple of games, one against some older, more-experienced ballers, and they acquitted themselves very well.
Next Saturday, our U13 and U15 Boys will take on the same Academy. Parents have been emailed about this.

Primary FOBISIA Games Training
With only three weeks of training left the Primary FOBISIA Team is looking very strong.
Thank you for the efforts of all the children who work hard every Monday/Wednesday/Friday after school to develop their skills and understanding of football, teeball and athletics.
This week we once again go over to Arsenal to play Teeball from 2.30pm to 4.15pm returning to STA by 4.30pm.
Football & Basketball Coaching
It was great to see so many new faces at training last week, as players move up squads in preparation for next term. We also had many students on trial who are now either ready for competitive training or are new to St. Andrews.
Training in sport is a journey that is long, sometimes tough and hopefully rewarding.
