The performance of  “Little Shop of Horrors” was a fantastic way for the High School to say goodbye to the drama studio… The Srivikorn Campus is materialising before our eyes. Take a look at some examples of the progress… There are other important news items, events and dates to share, so please read on.

Little Shop of Horrors

Firstly, Congratulations to everyone involved in last week’s High School Production of Little Shop of Horrors, with the cast, crew, Administrative staff, parents and audiences all combining for a fantastic week of performances of our last ever High School Production in the Drama Studio.

The Drama Studio was transformed for the show and, as I said after Thursday’s final performance, it was a great end to High School Drama on Sukhumvit 71 - I cannot wait to see next year’s first productions in the Auditorium on our new campus.

Srivikorn Campus Update

I spent Thursday morning visiting the new campus and, with three months to go until the first day of next term, it is great to see the building taking shape and the architect’s images becoming reality as you can see from these photos.

As Mr Paul wrote last week, there are hundreds of people working on the site, and I, and the other High School teachers, were all very excited to see the most recent progress, including the stairs up to the mezzanine floor in the “Third Space”, which I wrote about two weeks ago, and the roof on the Atrium of the Red Building, which will contain Art, Computer Science, Design Technology and Science rooms and the Senior Studies Common Room and Staff Room.

I look forward to seeing Year 13 students, and their parents and families, at the Graduation of the Class of 2017 taking place at the Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit this Saturday. This is a very special Year Group both for the school, as our final Sukhumvit 71 Graduates, and more personally, as the first Graduating Class who I have taught since they were Year 7s...

I am also looking forward to seeing many parents at next week’s PTG Meeting (on Wednesday), when Mr Paul will talk more about the new High School campus and the developments to the current campus, and PTG Coffee Morning (on Thursday) - please see the PTG section of this Newsletter for more details.

Finally, a reminder that next Friday, the last day before half-term, we will have a Black and White Non-Uniform Day for Khlong Toei - please see the House section of this Newsletter for more details.
