STA Community Sports Day
Last Saturday, we enjoyed our first ever St. Andrews International School’s Community Sports Day. Over one hundred staff and parents turned up to play badminton, volleyball or football, with children keeping cool in the pool while their mums and dads participated in some fun - and sometimes competitive - games.
It was great to see everyone mix, socialise and laugh, with maids, teachers and parents - including our very own Head, Mr Paul - participating.
Thank you to the PTG who provided a great spread of food and to the children who helped make such wonderful smoothies.
Basketball
We have our final two games of the year on Wednesday and Thursday this week as our U13s travel to Shrewsbury.
Please note that on Saturday, 24th June, the Saturday Club and Flames Academy will join together in our end-of-year 3on3 tournament, starting at 8.30am.
And on Monday, 26th June, Y7-10 will take part in the annual House Bball Tournament, also a 3on3 format.
Having embraced this exciting format to the game, we’re pleased to see it will be included in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics for the first time. Seems we’re right on trend!
