Swimming galas

Last week all of KS2 had their chance to earn some house points in the annual swimming carnivals. There was a lovely atmosphere as the children cheered on their team mates as they competed in a variety of races.

The overall winners in each year group were:

Y3 - Lahu & Yao

Y4 - Yao & Karen

Y5 - Akha

Y6 - Akha & Lahu

Year 6 Prom

Last Thursday, the Year 6 students and teachers got their gladrags on for the Y6 Prom- ‘An Afternoon at the Oscars’. The children had a great time at this event, which was organised by the Y12 CAS team. It’s a lovely way to celebrate the children’s last few weeks in the Primary School before they move on to the next step in their journey at St Andrews. Thank you to  Mrs. Faye and the CAS team.

Year 6 ‘Groovy Disco’ Leavers Assembly

This Thursday is the Year 6 Leavers assembly. This is a chance for the students to look back and share their experiences of their time at STA. Parents are invited to come along and share in the fun of this celebration.

*Y6 Parents are encouraged to come along wearing their finest disco/70s outfits to help get in the groove.

End of Term Reports

The end of year reports will be available to view on the Parent Portal from 3 pm on Friday. The parent portal can be accessed here: parent-standrews.nordanglia.com. If you have any issues accessing the portal, please contact the school office.

New classes & Class Swap

The students will find out on Friday which class they will be in next year. Parents will also be emailed the class lists.

The class swap will take place on Monday 26th June in the morning. The children will be able to meet their new teacher if they are already in Bangkok, or will find out about them through a short PowerPoint that the teachers have prepared.

Back With the Birds!

Discover the wildlife of Bangkok's parks.

The second STA Community Birdwalk will take place on Sunday the 25th of June. Starting at approximately 7.30 am and continuing until  around 10.30, we will join wildlife experts from the Bird Conservation Society of Thailand who will introduce you and your children to the surprising variety of birds (and other creatures) found in Suan Luang Rama 9 Park. Binoculars and a telescope will be provided. This fun family morning out is most appropriate for key stages one and two.

If you are interested in signing up or want to know more - please contact Mr. Ewen (ewen.mc@standrews.ac.th) or Ms Kiyomi (kiyomi.mo@standrews.ac.th)
