Those of you who know the campus well will be amazed by all of the changes that have happened over the long break. We owe a massive Thank You to all of the people from our Estates and Logistics Departments who have worked so hard over the last year planning and preparing the developments, and to the Estates Team who have worked long hours in the past few weeks to make sure that everything is ready for the start of Term.
Hopefully you can find some time over the next few weeks to take a stroll around the areas and see the changes for yourself - photographs don’t do it justice!
Over the next few months you will see how areas develop as the children and teachers take over the spaces and make them their own.
You will see quite a few new faces in the Academic Team this term as we welcome Ms Emma into Nursery, Ms Justyna into KG, Ms Isla into Reception, Mr Colin and Ms Susan into Y1 and Ms Maria into Y2.
We also have Ms Rachel Nahmias, our Play Therapist, being based in school this year, Ms Rachel Szewczuk joining us as our Primary Art Therapy Counsellor and Ms Lizzy as the leader of the STARs Programme in Foundation Stage and KS1.
In addition we have new members in all of our specialist departments.
All of the new staff have been brought in to develop the richness of the curriculum we offer the children and we are looking forward to them sharing their expertise.
There will be a few new children joining us in KG and Reception, and of course the new Nursery children will be brought in over the next few weeks. In Y1 and Y2 we have opened new classes so the children will coming home talking about new friends they have made. It is a very International mix, with children joining us from across the world.
The children have really enjoyed exploring the new spaces today and will very soon be used to the new routines.
