The PTG encourages the entire community to get involved in 2017/2018

Let me add my welcome to that of Mr. Paul and all the Heads of Phase and welcome everyone to another year at St Andrews International School Bangkok.  I hope everyone had a fantastic summer.  I would like to personally welcome all new parents to the St Andrews community.

It was a pleasure to meet so many new people at the Primary coffee morning this morning as well as to catch up with old friends after the summer.  The PTG is a group of volunteer parents with children spanning all ages who work together to strengthen our community.  Information on who we are, what we do and how to contact us can be found on Moodle.  Our Moodle page is a work in progress and is growing and developing all the time.  Please keep an eye out for new information that will be appearing soon.

We face a challenging year - moving to a two-campus school but maintaining our fantastic community spirit.  It is this sense of community that, in my opinion, sets St. Andrews apart.

If you are new to Bangkok as well as to St Andrews, settling into a new environment can be very daunting and, without the support of family, I know that even the smallest of things can seem very difficult.  Please do not hesitate to come and see any of us on the PTG Committee if you have any questions.  These need not be solely related to school - we are also happy to help with any problems or questions you may have settling into a new city.  You can reach us by e-mail at or by talking to us when you see us around school.

There will be lots of opportunities to get involved with school activities so please do drop us an e-mail and let us know if you have time to spare and would like to volunteer.

I look forward to seeing everyone soon around school.

Thank you.
