High School

Our first basketball game tips-off Wednesday with the U15G in action. We have a busy schedule and look forward to a great season.

The Flames Saturday programme started last weekend, with 130 students attending either the open Saturday Club or the Flames Basketball Academy. We’re excited to see so many STA students engage in this exciting game, especially at the weekend. There’s a different atmosphere on Saturdays with lots of parents around too. Worth getting up for!

Thursday sees our first entry into the world of cross-country, with Mr Angelo taking a group to another school for a meet. This is a great addition to our programme, providing a whole range of new opportunities for those who specialise in and enjoy endurance running.

Please speak with Mr Angelo if you’d like to find out more about our Monday and Thursday sessions.

We’re excited to see the ECA programme start this week, with lots of new opportunities including:

  • HIIT training with BASE in our new Fitness Centre. We also have 10 parents signed up on Wednesday mornings,. Drop-ins are also welcome;

  • Yoga in the Studio, which is a lovely tranquil space. Again, we have parents coming in 3 mornings a week to start their day with some relaxing yoga;

  • Tennis with Spin & Slice, with parent tennis too;

  • Top Flight Basketball;

  • Football with BSS;

  • Swimming fundamentals with our Swim Department and Friday morning parent sessions.

We look forward to seeing lots of active STA community members!
