Art: Liat Rot joins the Art Department

St Andrews International School Bangkok is pleased to welcome artist and teacher Miss Liat to our Art Department.

Last week we welcomed Miss Liat Rot to the St Andrews Art Department. Hailing from Israel, Miss Liat is an accomplished painter, who favours abstract art. She has kindly stepped in to teach a number of Year 7, 8 and 9 classes. Since 2010, Miss Liat has worked with children from 3 to 15 years old, setting up her own private art classes and opening art and community social clubs to provide students with additional opportunities to develop their artistic capabilities and discover new media. Miss Liat will also be running two “Open Studio” art sessions, after school on Mondays and Thursdays, 2.45-3.45. Sign up is essential for these sessions and can be done on a weekly basis on the sign-up sheets on the door of 3CR, Mr Tim’s art room.
