Amee, Valedictorian of the Class of 2025, graduated with a perfect IB score of 45/45, an achievement reached by fewer than 1% of candidates worldwide, while delivering a powerful message that success is not about perfection. With interests intersecting at cognitive science and the fine arts, she is pursuing the combined Bachelor of Arts / Doctor of Medicine (BA/MD) degree at the University of Sydney, reflecting on growth, community, and the courage to learn through trial and error as she prepares for the next chapter of her journey.

Written by STA students Fi & Miae in Year 11 and Gracie, Kate & Pita in Year 12, this article shares their journey of service learning through the Green Giving Gardens project. Primary School students begin building independence with an overnight stay in Year 2, progressing to multi-night residential trips in Years 3 to 6 that include hands-on activities in nearby regions. Arhamm, a Year 12 St Andrews Bangkok student, recently joined the MIT Student Workshop in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he explored cutting-edge STEAM learning alongside peers from around the world. From touring the Glass Lab and creating laser-cut coasters to tackling escape room challenges and visiting Harvard, Arhamm described the trip as “an unforgettable experience with loads of memories,” highlighting collaboration, creativity, and new perspectives gained throughout the week.
