PTG Summer Party
Songkran is just around the corner and that means that unbelievably the end of this school year is on the horizon. Planning is well under way for this year’s PTG Summer Party so save the date: Friday 15 June 2018. The Summer Party has become a highlight of our community’s calendar and is a fantastic opportunity for parents and teachers to get together and celebrate another great year at St Andrews International School Bangkok. The musical talents of our Jazz Band will get the evening off to a rocking start. This is the one event that you really do not want to miss. More information will follow soon.
Canteen Working Group
The Primary Canteen Working Group is up and running and they are compiling a questionnaire which will be sent to you by email. It would be very much appreciated if you could take the time to complete it as it will give the working group accurate information with which they can move forward with the school and Epicure management. If you have any issues to add that are not covered in the questionnaire, please do not hesitate to send them to us by email (ptgchair@standrews.ac.th) and they will be forwarded to the members of the working group.
Elizabeth Jarman Seminar for Parents - Wednesday 25 April 2018
Elizabeth Jarman, creator of the Communication Friendly Spaces Approach, is a great friend of St Andrews International School Bangkok and has worked with the school in the past developing our school environment to best support communication and language development. Elizabeth likes to offer a seminar for parents when she is visiting. This time, she will be talking about “Language and Communication Spaces”. Her talks are especially popular with the parents of our youngest children, but everyone is welcome. The presentation will take place on Wednesday 25 April (the first week back after the Songkran holiday) at 08.00 am in the Exam Room, top floor of the R Building at the Primary School. If you would be interested in attending this presentation, please complete this very short questionnaire.

The parents’ activities is one of the many ways in which the PTG works to strengthen the community here at St Andrews International School Bangkok. If you are new to our school, it is a great way to meet other parents. We are always working to expand the choice of activities available to parents so please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you are interested in participating or would like to run a new club.
As always, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any suggestions, questions or concerns. The easiest way to reach us is by email on ptgchair@standrews.ac.th or many of us are around in the mornings both at Primary and High School and you are welcome to have a chat at any time.
