A few weeks ago we launched our ‘Week Without’ to the High School
All students in St Andrews International School Bangkok High School were challenged to give up something for one week and raise money through sponsorship for our school charity and service projects. A guest speaker talked to the students about various projects and why it is important to help people less fortunate than ourselves. It was a very moving assembly with some heart-wrenching stories shared. Students were then invited to give up something they could live without for a whole week and to raise as much money as they can.
Last week saw the whole school give up something for a week and to see exactly what some students gave up was just amazing.
On Friday we celebrated with the school band playing outside the Atrium and some slip and slide fun happening on the field, as well as some other games. Well done to everyone who took part and don’t forget to bring in the money you raised from ‘week without’ this week!
You will find out next week which five students raised the most amount of money.
