Around the school you’ve probably noticed our new recycling bins, which have been placed in the classrooms, shared areas and around the campus.
Ms Sarah, our STEAM co-ordinator, is also sending out a plea for things that we can reuse.
Dear Parents,
If you have been collecting things at home and are looking to make good use of them - such as gift ribbon, normal ribbon, old clothes (for the fabric,) bubble wrap, old Christmas/birthday cards for cutting up the pictures, buttons, beads, lollipop sticks, straws etc. please look no further!
Whilst we can buy nice new resources, there's a lot of trial and error involved with some STEAM projects and we really would like to use as much recycled materials as possible, especially for the prototype stage - and it's good for our students to be aware that 'brand new' is not always necessary.
Please send any STEAM donations to my classroom (C11 - Y6 quad)
Annie - The KS2 Production
As announced on Friday, we will be doing Annie as our KS2 production this year. Ms Sarah met with some very enthusiastic children at lunchtime today to give them more information about the audition process. The auditions will run from Wednesday 5th September to Friday 7th September and our production team (Ms Sarah, Ms Anna, Mr Sam and Mrs Leanne) will have a very tough time selecting with over 90 students already signed up to audition. If your child hasn’t signed up yet and is interested in auditioning, you can add their details by clicking on this form link. Please note that we will not be accepting sign ups after Wednesday 29th August.
