High School Sport: Flames burn up the court

It was a big weekend of basketball at St Andrews International School Bangkok with the second Friday Night Game and our 3on3 Invitational Tournament. But there was also tennis action. Read on for some important dates for your diary.

Friday Night Game #2

We enjoyed another great night of dance, music and basketball on Friday, as BIS Phuket visited with their U15s.

It was great to see the bleachers packed with students and parents - the idea of the occasion is to show sport as a spectator event, not just for participation. The ballers work so hard week in week out, and entertain their coaches… but we’d love more people to see how good they are!

To add the performances of the dance teams and percussion band is a real bonus and makes the night a truly cross-discipline collaboration.

Thank you to the PTG for use of the popcorn machine.

On top of all that, our Tanzania students raised nearly 10,000 thb for charity!
