The Year 7s have been throwing themselves into the Greek Theatre topic this term and have been discovering ways of bringing to life the myth of Pandora’s Box.
They have been experimenting with space, gesture, props and staging - they have even made their own masks to wear during their performance. The students successfully made these masks to reflect the exaggerated facial expressions of their characters, as well as the deep and intense emotions. They have focused particularly hard on developing their mime and narration skills, which was complemented by their beautiful mask.
So much hard work and dedication went into making these beautiful pieces and all of the Drama teachers have been blown away by such a high standard of creativity shown by the students. Well done Year 7.
