Fun Day 2019
As you will have read in Mr Paul’s section of the Newsletter, unfortunately, it has not been possible to find a new date for Fun Day this year. This is a great shame as this year’s event was shaping up to be a fabulous day and a wonderful celebration of the community at St Andrews International School Bangkok. We have asked that Fun Day be scheduled for slightly later in the year next year, so as to hopefully avoid problems with poor air quality. The PTG Committee is working with the school to continue with the raffle draw later this term as we have some amazing prizes on offer.
For those people who bought entry bracelets ahead of time, please take them back to the Accounts window at either Primary or High School and you will be reimbursed in full.
Hang on to your raffle tickets, and please buy more if you can, and we will keep you updated on when the raffle draw will take place.
Coffee and chat # 3
Our popular “Coffee and Chat” sessions in High School continue and the next one will be held on Monday 11 March 2019, again in the High School Coffee shop from 07.45 a.m. Please come along for a chat. PTG Committee members will be on hand for you to raise any issues of concern and these issues will be discussed with High School management at our next meeting with them.
Parents are reminded to please complete the Leavers’ Survey if you haven’t already had time to do it. The information gathered from this survey is extremely important as work is already underway compiling class lists for the next academic year and the Admissions Teams relies on this information to know how many families will be leaving our community and how many places they have to offer.
Please remember that you can buy a second-hand uniform from both Primary and High School at extremely reasonable prices. You can purchase second-hand uniform at the Primary School on Tuesday and Thursday mornings when Lost and Found is open or at High School on Thursdays between 09.00 and 10.00 a.m. Alternatively, you can email Sarah on firstname.lastname@example.org to check stock availability. All proceeds from the sale of second-hand uniform are donated to Uniforms4Good, part of the Baan Dek Foundation. We are always happy to receive donations of school uniform that your children have grown out of. You can leave your donations at either of the school offices.
