Meanwhile, we are still working hard in lessons and Y9s have been exploring a scene from the play: “Our Day Out” by Willy Russell. The students have worked tirelessly to perform a powerful duologue which explores many challenging themes surrounding students living in poverty.

The students have been working in an ensemble manner to workshop key moments of their script, they have responded to peer direction with focus and in such a professional manner.

The work they have produced has been both impressive and moving!
