PTG Meeting 11 September
Thank you for sending in your topics! We have prepared the Agenda accordingly. We look forward to constructive discussions at the PTG Meeting on 11 September. It starts at 8:15 and will be held in the exam room, Primary Campus, top of the R building (the building that houses the library). Please find our agenda here.
A reminder that the first coordination meeting for International Day takes place right after the PTG Meeting. We look forward to seeing Country Reps there, and indeed anyone just interested in hearing more about how this special day works. Two big countries still in need of support are Australia and the USA, so please do attend if you might be able to represent these countries!
International Day takes place at High School on Fri 11 Oct and at Primary School on Fri 18 Oct 2019.
Meat Free Mondays
I am sure you are aware of the science and the reasons for reducing meat consumption in society as a whole. Meatless Monday is a very commendable effort by our students and our school to reduce our environmental impact on the planet and to raise responsible global citizens. We will certainly discuss ways of improving this initiative. Do you have suggestions for improvement? What foods would you like to see more of? Can you share your favourite vegetarian recipes? Please let us know at email@example.com.
In case you missed it, here is the presentation that was held by the Primary School Ecobeasts, on the reasons for introducing Meatless Monday.
We’re excited to announce a new activity: Basketball! This came about through the initiative of a parent – thank you, we’re so happy to see you coming forward with ideas. And sign-ups are still open for a few activities that offer more than one workshop, such as Hormone Yoga Therapy and Art Workshop. Also, any tennis players out there? Patana’s PTG is holding a Charity Tennis Tournament on Thursday 10 October 2019 at 8 am. It’s 1,000 baht per pair to join; contact Daniel Ahl, firstname.lastname@example.org, 097 236 6360. Any questions, please email PTG Activities Coordinator Vilai at email@example.com.
Stay in touch
The PTG has a Facebook group where you can find lots of useful information about St Andrews International School Bangkok as well as getting used to living in Bangkok if you are new to the city. If you would like to contact us about something specific, please don’t hesitate to get in touch by email on firstname.lastname@example.org. Wondering who the Committee members are? Put faces to names by checking the school website or the PTG section of Moodle, which also contains our Constitution.
