Foundation Stage & Key Stage 1: Welcome New Teachers

It was a rainy start to the week, but the sun was soon shining and showing the school off at its best as we welcomed our new teachers into school.

Welcome New Teachers

It was a rainy start to the week, but the sun was soon shining and showing the school off at its best as we welcomed our new teachers into school. Having been in quarantine for two weeks, they were very pleased to be out in the sunshine for a tour of the campus. During the remainder of this week, they will be coming in to meet teachers and students before they start with their full timetables next week. The children were very pleased to see their teachers and are looking forward to working with them soon.

As you know, we have a number of therapists and counsellors who are able to work with our families in the Primary School. This means that we have a lot of avenues through which children can get support.

Ms Jette, in Y1 is now completing a different qualification which will also be a valuable resource to us, that of Parent Coaching. Her years of experience in the classroom, knowledge of child development and being a mum make her a perfect fit for this role.

Below you will find an invitation from Ms Jette to find out more about what Parent Coaching could offer you.

Complimentary Parent Coaching

Find your inner strength, resources and creativity to make parenting more enjoyable and families more harmonious

These last weeks have provided a unique opportunity for us to spend a lot of time laughing, playing and learning with our children. And yet I also know these changes have placed new demands on us, some of which have not always felt welcome. If you are looking to cherish the time you spend with your children but are feeling stuck, parent coaching may motivate you to become the best possible parent/guardian that you can be.

We all place a high value on our children’s education and recognize too that parents/guardians are very influential in any child’s life. It is in everyone’s interest to ensure that the relationship between parent/guardian and the child is as fruitful as possible.

Parent coaching is a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the parent to maximize their potential. You are the expert in your child’s life. I also know that every parent is creative, resourceful, and whole. As a parent coach, my role is to facilitate the creation and achievement of your parenting goals. Parent coaching is a confidential and non-judgmental form of support that is designed to help you parent at your best.

If you would like to hear more, please contact your child’s teacher or you can email me directly on jette.vi@standrews.ac.th I look forward to hearing from you.
