This Term Year 3 have started reading a new book for guided reading, The Boy at the Back of the Class.
Over the last few weeks Year 3 have been introduced to the narrator who has a new, mysterious class member. Year 3 have really been enjoying reading this book so far and have been doing lots of great learning based on it.
They have written questions which they would like to ask the new boy if they had a chance and they have been practising dictionary skills to find out the meaning of unfamiliar words. Year 3 are really looking forward to seeing how the rest of the book unfolds!
