Year 2 Pandas Class Teacher

Before becoming a teacher, I attended Northumbria University in Newcastle, England where I completed a Bachelor of Science, Psychology degree. After gaining a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, I spent time teaching in the North East of England.

I successfully completed my NQT year in a Year 3 class. I gained valuable experience teaching in England, where I was able to develop my practice. I have always wanted to teach abroad and recently spent three years teaching in an international school in Egypt. There I taught across Key Stage 1 and after taking a middle leaders course became Year 2 and Key Stage 1 Team Leader.

After working in Egypt for three years I felt ready for a new challenge. This is when I decided to take the opportunity to move to Beijing and become teacher at BSB Sanlitun.

While being in Egypt, I have developed a love of travelling. I enjoy the opportunities I get to see the world and experience other countries and cultures. When I am not working or travelling, I enjoy going back to my home town of Newcastle. I look forward to exploring China and the new opportunities this will bring.
