BISB Students to Compete in Statewide Quiz Show

The British International School of Boston is entering it's first ever team this weekend in WGBH's annual High School Quiz Show, an award-winning single-elimination academic team competition for all high school students in Massachusetts.
On November 16- "Super Sunday"- six high school students will compete with 120 other school teams in the hope of making the top 16 teams that will compete in the televised final in February 2015.

BISB students competed against each other in a school quiz to select the team, and the team has been brushing up on their general knowledge and watching past episodes of High School Quiz Show at highschoolquizshow.org to prepare ever since. The competition will test students' breadth of knowledge and ability to work under pressure, as well as giving them the opportunity to socialize with other students from across the region.

This is the first year that students from independent schools in the state have been permitted to enter the competition, and BISB is looking forward to representing our private school on Sunday.

Good luck to our students!
