Year 7 Science project - 3D models of animal and plant cells

Animal and Plant Cell Science Project | BISB-year-7-science-project--3d-models-of-animal-and-plant-cells-IMG_0244

Year 7 students were given an extended project challenge: to complete a cross curricular extended homework project linking Science with Art. The task was to create a 3D model of an animal or plant cell. They could work by themselves, in a pair or trio and had 2 weeks to complete the task.

Year 7 students were given an extended project challenge: to complete a cross curricular extended homework project linking Science with Art. The task was to create a 3D model of an animal or plant cell. They could work by themselves, in a pair or trio and had 2 weeks to complete the task.

Their models needed to show the key structures of the cell and include labels and/or descriptions about what the structures do.

The students were very ambitious and rose to the challenge of producing some very creative cells. They carried out research and put in a lot of effort to be creative.

Well done to the following winners: 1st place – Vicky Kim; 2nd place – Zsanna Zsiman-Lebovics; 3rd place – Anna Csenke and Ella Ronaszeki. The most creative model goes to Marco Pricopi.

Runners up were Anan Zhao, Kitty Magyari, Gordey Muratov, and David Bartos.

Well done Year 7 for showing your academic excellence and creative spirit.
