Steve started his teaching career in a large state maintained secondary school in the UK, before moving to the Middle East in 2000 and then to South East Asia in 2015. In addition to his experience of teaching Mathematics across a wide range of age groups and abilities. Steve has held various leadership roles and joins BISB as Deputy Head of Secondary, a position he has held in his previous two international schools.
 
His vision of an outstanding school is one that responds to the potential and needs of its students, providing excellent teaching and learning in an environment that enables the highest possible academic and personal achievements. He is looking forward to further developing the  ethos of “Be Ambitious” and is passionate about maximising the potential of every individual and preparing students to be global citizens.
 
In his spare time Steve is a keen cyclist. He has completed an Ironman triathlon and is always attempting to play more golf to reduce his handicap to single figures.
