AMDIS (Admissions, Marketing, Development in Independent Schools) Diploma in School Marketing

Katherine worked for Marks & Spencer, the BBC and in bookselling as a Business Development Manager before moving into school marketing in 2005. She started at a day school in Carlisle, before moving to a boarding school in Lancashire dealing with admissions and marketing in the UK and internationally. Following this, Katherine moved to the historical city of York to an all-girls full boarding school as the Director of Marketing, Admissions and Development, managing all outward facing communications and relations. She is an experienced trainer and public speaker who has taken on many speaking engagements at national events in the UK. Katherine joined BISB in 2017.

Katherine is a devoted cricket fan, a long suffering Everton supporter and a shoe collector. Keeping fit is very important to her and she will often be found on a spin bike or at a HIIT class.
