The Erasmus Programme first brought Dawn to Hungary. After qualifying, Dawn began her career teaching English as an Additional Language in a Hungarian school. Dawn returned to the UK where she taught across the Primary age range and was coordinator of Literacy and Art. Dawn also taught in Melbourne, Australia before heading to Budapest, the city of her husband, Peter.
Dawn joined BISB in 2004. She taught in Early Years and was Early Years Coordinator. She is currently enjoying teaching in Year 1.
Dawn has a love of children and is a passionate international educator. She is ambitious to nurture the children in her classes and strives to help them achieve their very best.
In her spare time Dawn likes to bake cakes and enjoy the attractions of Budapest with her husband and young family. She speaks fluent Hungarian, with a Yorkshire accent.
