Niamh McCabe

Year 3 Teacher

BEd Primary with History, St Mary’s University College

Niamh previously taught at an inner-city primary school in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Having worked with students from ages 3-10, Niamh has a rich experience of delivering a broad and balanced UK curriculum to pupils from a range of different backgrounds, notably newcomer pupils and children with English as an additional language.

Niamh is committed to the principles of primary education in international schools. She believes that children are capable of extraordinary things – they just need the right environment to flourish in. Encouraging educational excellence for every child and being ambitious for the students underpins her teaching philosophy, supporting the children to become independent learners ready to make a difference in the world.

In her spare time, Niamh enjoys going for walks and coffees with family and friends. She enjoys playing sport, especially Gaelic football and running.
