After working in a Primary School in Leeds after graduating, Louise moved to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam to work at the British International School as a Key Stage 2 teacher. As a flourishing and exciting school to be a part of, Louise learnt a lot from her first international posting and in 2005 took a position as Year 6 teacher in Budapest having heard many excellent and positive reports about BISB. With an interest in English and Literacy, Louise held the position of Literacy Coordinator for the primary school and was privileged to receive excellent professional development training both in the UK and at the ECIS conferences.
Louise is committed to providing the appropriate conditions for children to learn; a positive, safe and exciting environment to stimulate interest where learners feel confident to freely share ideas, test theories and give opinions.
In her spare time, Louise enjoys keeping fit, regularly attending the gym and running on Margit Island, although her two young children already do a very good job of keeping her active!
