Joanna Leach

Joanna Leach

Head of English and TOK Teacher

BA (Hons), English, University of Exeter

PGCE Secondary, English Drama and Media Studies, University of Exeter

Joanna started her teaching career teaching A levels in a Sixth Form College in Surrey before moving abroad in the late 1990s.  Her first international post was in Milan and from there she went on to be Head of English in Bogota, Colombia and Head of English and TOK and Film teacher in Mexico City.  The post in Budapest is Joanna’s first time working for Nord Anglia.

Joanna believes in supporting and encouraging students to be inventive, creative, analytical and courageous in their learning and as such fosters an environment that is intellectually stimulating and challenging.  

In her spare time Joanna enjoys film, theatre, reading and travel as well as occasionally practising yoga.
