Lauren started her teaching career in 2008 in London having been inspired by her time as learning assistant in her hometown of Oxford and a teaching placement in Thailand. Her first post was in a large comprehensive school in London teaching History and running the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme. IN 2012, Lauren took up her first international school post at the Nord Anglia British International School of Chicago. During her time in Chicago, Lauren ran the Model United Nations programme and was promoted to Head of Social Studies, leading a large department and teaching IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme.

His thirst to experience a different linguistic and cultural environment at an outstanding and innovative school brought Mr Gibson to The British International School Budapest.
