Kuala Lumpur then led Rachel and her family to the vibrant city of Dubai where she led Sixth Form in a distinguished international school whilst also teaching Economics and Business.
Rachel values the deep impact a school can have on the holistic development of its students. She works hard in her classroom and pastorally to help her students to build a toolkit of entrepreneurial skills: valuing innovation, critical thinking, creativity and risk taking alongside academic rigour, high standards and self-discipline. This focus on holistic growth allows young people to achieve their ambitions.
Rachel is a passionate teacher of Business & Economics, seeing the discipline as fundamental in equipping students to understand the impact of political and business behaviour globally, meaning we can all have informed opinions on geopolitical decisions and developments better understanding the complex world in which we live.
Rachel enjoys exploring new cities, cultures and countries with her family. When not busy with her two small children, Rachel can be found enjoying yoga and skiing. She also enjoys photography, but still has much to learn.
