Gabriella Kiss Garainé

Hungarian Teacher

Primary Teacher,  Teacher Training College of Zsámbék

Teacher of Hungarian Language and Literature, College of Nyíregyháza

Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Leadership, Budapest University of Technology and Economics

Mrs Garai started her career as a teacher many years ago. She worked at the same school from 1999 to 2018. She started as a Primary Teacher and then from 2010 became Head of the Primary School. During these years she gained experience in every area of school life.

Mrs Garai joined BISB in 2018 as a Primary Hungarian Teacher.

Mrs Garai teaches Hungarian in Primary through playful activities related to the age group. During teaching she puts emphasis on motivation, differentiated work and emotional education as well. It is important for her that her students can use Hungarian language in a real life context, so debates and role-plays from everyday life are including in the lessons. She aspires for all her students to go beyond the basic skills and grow confidence in Hungarian. Her aim is to broaden children’s view of the world we live in, to teach many elements of Hungary’s and other countries’ cultures and traditions. She is interested in international education and is learning even more about it now that she is working at BISB.

Mrs Garai spends most of her free-time with family and friends. She enjoys travelling, getting to know new people and cultures, is interested in gastronomy and practises cooking herself.
