Juilliard Composition Project

  • Miss Expanding Universe

We are so proud to announce that BISC-LP has been selected as one of only five NAE schools to take part in the Juilliard Composition Project!

Earlier this year, The Juilliard School launched an opportunity for which each Nord Anglia school was required to submit a formal proposal and application in order to take part. The project involves guiding students to compose group compositions based on a specific stimulus. We decided to choose the sculpture Miss Expanding Universe as our inspiration thus enabling us to link our work with this year's Art Institute Project and with further STEAM and Dance topics.

Year 4 are currently working on this project until April at which point we will submit our compositions to The Juilliard School to be performed live by Juilliard musicians.

This is such an exciting project to be part of and we cannot wait to share the finished results with everyone!
