Beyond the Classroom!

We kick start our first ‘Beyond the Classroom’ for the year by celebrating Teagan J and Bryon S! While also settling into a new school year, they have been busy outside of school!

teagan 2

Teagan (Year 2) was moved up a level at her swim school last weekend and went from Glider 2 to Glider 3! As you can see from the photo, she was very proud of herself! She had been at her previous level for quite some time and worked very hard to advance, doing very well on the test that she had to undertake! We are very proud of you and your resilience, Teagan!

bryon

Bryon S (Year 4) created a game called ‘Continent Race’. When Byron was just 6 years old, he came up with the game during a month-long hospital stay. It was a traumatic and scary time for Byron, and Continent Race was his way to have a little fun while also learning. Through the success of this game, Bryon is able to give back to the hospital community and has already sent 100 games to hospitals! We are very proud of your thoughtfulness, Bryon! Well done!
